Children's Pottery Classes, at Sharpe's Pottery Swadlincote South Derbyshire,

A range of workshops are available including throwing a pot using a kick wheel, slab pot and coil pot building, model making. Pottery sessions can be arranged at any venue and we can cater for private sessions or groups up to 20, adults and children. We can provide air drying clay that does not require firing or we can kiln fire pots and offer additional glazing and decorating sessions.

Airbrushing workshops, one to one sessions or group taster sessions are offered, youth workshops producing large murals on canvas or painted directly onto walls. Spray art projects with community groups across South Derbyshire.

Murals designed and created with 4 young people over 6 half day sessions, painted directly onto coridor walls using emulsion paints.

Model Making

Puppet show, a project working with a homestart group of Mums and young children, including storytelling, model making, scenery painting and building a stage fro children and parents to express their ideas.

Digital Art Workshops

The above image was created with Techno-Tyros, an over 50's group. The sessions took place over 18 weeks, many of the group had no previous IT experience.

Video Workshops

Realisations was a music video created with a teenage group of musicians called Gnome. The song and video score was written by the band. Filming, editing and graphics workshops created a complete package.

Health Promoting Schools

Video created with Springfields Junior School, Swadlincoteas part of a healthpromoting schools campaign for Healthy Living. The video was based on risks and choices. The workshops took place over a one week period with three form groups
