The home of a new mining sculpture created with South Derbyshire Miners Preservation Group. Entitled Underground-Overground the concrete sculpture took 8 months to construct and weighs approximately 17 tonnes. For more information click here.

A weekend of fun at this years festival, we provided portrait drawing and pottery workshops, with the community having the opportunity to try their hand at throwing a pot. Air drying clay was provided allowing participants to take their pots away on the day.

Glebe Old School, Stanton Road, Stapenhill, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire.
Childrens Art Workshops, Saturday Mornings 10am to 12pm.
Ages 7 to 15 years.
The weekly sessions include drawing and painting, pottery sessions, encaustic art (wax painting), model making - papier mache etc.
